Learn how to aproach (peri)menopause from a holistic point of view & conclude the workshop with a relaxing & restorative Yoga session.

Menopause and the years leading up to it, perimenopause, often starting in your early 40s, can leave women with typical symptoms such as nightsweats, hotflashes and poor sleep, due to hormonal changes starting to occur.
Some women almost breeze through this time, others may suffer from other associated symptoms such as anxiety, depression, irritability, insomnia, lack of energy, fatigue, brainfog, mood changes and weightgain around the middle.
In this workshop we will look at what causes some of these changes and that whilst we may not be able to completely reverse or cure the changes occuring, we are able to improve some of the symptoms and live a healthy and active life during perimenopause and menopause.
We will look at how you can balance the various hormones causing havoc in our bodies by:
* Having an exercise routine & what approach may work better than others
* improving nutrition and a Healthy gut
* Stress reduction, relaxation, mindfulness
*Changing other habits & lifestyle factors
Beatrice, Head Personal Trainer & Health Coach at MYPTstudio, will be taking you on this journey to start living a healthy (peri)menopausal life. She is coaching women from 40+ in a holistic way, balancing an exercise and strengty training regime with nutritional coaching and approaches to stress reduction. She has been invited to speak about menopause, fitness and health at Croydon Council and has provided training on the topic to other Personal Trainers.
Camilla, Yoga Teacher at MYPTstudio and in Croydon, has delivered a number or yoga workshops focusing on restoring hormonal balance and menopause.
Bring comfortable clothing for the Yoga session. Changing rooms are available. Part of the session will happen in our seminar room and part in one of our studios (yoga).
Also, bring all of your questions, we like our workshops to be interactive and want everyone to get as much out of the days as they can.
