* How to chose the right training plan for you
* Understanding the different types of runs and why they are important (LSR, tempo etc)
* A couple of basic changes to your running style, that will make you more effiient and less prone to injuries
* Nutrition during the race and nutrition during your training phase
* Why rest and recovery is important during marathon training
* What running gadgets do you really need
* Why strength training and cross training is important for marathon runners
* Tapering & Race Day preparation
* Useful stretches & mobility exercises and why you might want to foamroll (and how to properly use a foam roller)
This should be an interactive afternoon, so bring your questions and I will do my best to answer them all.
